IGN exclusively reveals the cover art for this explosive one-shot, the third in a series of Godzilla vs. Marvel Universe matchups. Following Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four #1 and Godzilla vs. Hulk #1, this issue throws Spider-Man into a retro showdown.

Set in the aftermath of 1984's Secret Wars, a newly symbiote-enhanced Spider-Man faces his greatest challenge yet: a rampaging Godzilla. This 80s-themed clash tests Peter Parker's limits as he defends his city from unprecedented destruction.

Joe Kelly, the writer behind Marvel's upcoming Amazing Spider-Man relaunch, pens the script. Nick Bradshaw (known for his work on Wolverine and the X-Men) provides the art, with cover art contributions from Bradshaw, Lee Garbett, and Greg Land.

Kelly describes the project as a "love letter served with an earth-shattering roar," promising a wild and chaotic ride that captures the spirit of the era. Unlike DC's Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, which featured the MonsterVerse versions, this comic showcases Toho's classic Godzilla.

This exciting news follows the announcement of IDW's Godzilla vs. Los Angeles #1, a charity anthology benefiting wildfire relief.
