After months of speculation and leaks, the veil has been lifted on Pokémon Champions, a thrilling new multiplayer battle-centric game crafted through a collaboration between Game Freak and The Pokémon Works—a recent joint venture between The Pokémon Company and ILCA, the developers behind Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Pokémon Champions zeroes in on the heart of the Pokémon series: battles. It features the beloved "core-style battles," allowing players to engage in online battles with others. The trailer showcased exciting mechanics such as Mega Evolution and Terastalization, hinting that the game will encompass various types and eras of Pokémon battles.
Moreover, *Pokémon Champions* will seamlessly integrate with *Pokémon Home*, enabling players to transfer Pokémon from other games into the battle arena. This feature provides fans a fantastic way to utilize the Pokémon they've collected over the years, which have been sitting idle in their boxes from previous generations.Currently in development, Pokémon Champions is set to launch on both Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, though a specific release date has not been announced. At launch, the game will support Latin American Spanish alongside other languages traditionally included in Pokémon titles.
