The tower defense genre might seem a bit crowded these days, especially with its frequent use in promotional ads. However, Sandsoft Games, the creators of the beloved Pocket Necromancer, have just launched Fortress Frontline on Android, bringing their unique spin to the scene.
Fortress Frontline is a straightforward wave-based roguelite tower defense game that challenges you to fend off relentless hordes of enemies from one side of the screen. Whether they're small and weak or large and tanky, you'll navigate through multiple runs, tweaking your loadout and unlocking permanent upgrades to extend your survival time.
While I might typically find it challenging to get excited about yet another tower defense game, Sandsoft Games have earned a special place in our hearts here at PG Towers. With its charmingly cartoony art style, Fortress Frontline offers a delightful experience.

Clashing castles - But what about the mechanics? Heroes and rare cards enhance your defenses, and a global leaderboard allows you to track your progress as you aim to climb to the top—or perhaps settle comfortably in the middle. Fortress Frontline adopts a Vampire Survivors approach to roguelites, where your attacks become more spectacular as you grow stronger.
