Fortnite's upcoming collaborations are generating significant buzz among players. A potential appearance by the popular vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, is hinted at through a playful social media exchange. The Fortnite Festival account claims possession of Miku's backpack, while Miku's official account reports it missing, sparking playful speculation.
Beyond a standard Miku skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest additional cosmetic items, including a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant. The anticipated launch date is January 14th.
Separately, a recent incident involving professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo highlights the ongoing issue of cheating in competitive gaming. Araujo allegedly used aimbot and wallhacks in a late December tournament, gaining an unfair advantage and winning thousands of dollars in prize money, according to Epic Games' lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges this gave Araujo an unfair advantage over rule-abiding competitors.
