The confirmation comes from returning cast member Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson), who revealed to Screen Rant that filming for Fallout Season 2 starts in November. While the full cast hasn't been officially confirmed, it's anticipated that Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) will reprise their roles.

Uggams hinted at exciting developments for her character, Betty Pearson, a Vault-Tec executive assistant: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."

A tentative release date of sometime in 2026 has been suggested, factoring in filming and post-production. However, an official release date remains unannounced. For context, Fallout Season 1 filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
