EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, the much-anticipated sequel to the acclaimed game EvoCreo, has recently hit the Android platform. The developers, ilmfinity, known for their Monster Adventure Games, have taken to Reddit to address the community's burning questions and provide insights into the game's future developments. If you're yet to explore this new adventure, set in the expansive world of Shoru, you'll find yourself immersed in the task of capturing, training, and battling over 300 unique Creo.
EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG doesn't just stop at monster training; it offers a comprehensive storyline where you start your journey as a recruit at the Shoru Police Academy. Your mission? To investigate the mysterious disappearance of monsters. As you delve deeper, you'll embark on over 50 missions, unravel hidden secrets, and face formidable opponents in the competitive battle arena.
First up, multiplayer functionality is on the horizon, though not immediately available. The developers are prioritizing bug fixes and game balancing before introducing this feature. Similarly, controller support and cloud saves are in the pipeline and slated for future updates.
A common query among players has been about the shiny rates. In EvoCreo2, the chance of encountering a regular shiny Creo is 0.2%, while the odds drop to a mere 0.02% for the rare shinies. It's worth noting that starter Creos can never be shiny.
For those curious about capture rates, the developers have clarified that lowering a Creo's HP and applying status conditions can boost your chances. However, capturing rare, high-level, or shiny Creos remains a challenging endeavor.
Looking ahead, the roadmap for EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG is clear. The initial focus will be on refining the game over the first few months. Following this, cloud saves and controller support will be implemented, paving the way for additional story content and, ultimately, the much-awaited multiplayer mode.
While waiting for these exciting updates, you can dive into the game now, available on the Google Play Store.
