Having escaped Fort Joy and removed your Source collar, your journey continues aboard the Elven ship, Lady Vengeance. Getting this unconventional vessel underway requires more than just turning a wheel; it's a puzzle demanding exploration and interaction. This guide will navigate you through the steps to set sail.

Investigating the Ship's Deck

Your investigation begins on deck. Examine the bodies of the fallen magisters and ghouls. A Sodden Diary, found on one of the corpses, holds a crucial password. You can also obtain the password via a skill check with the northern stateroom door. In addition to the password, you'll need a Strange Gem, found later in the game.

Locating the Portside Stateroom

Use the password from the diary (or skill check) to access the ship's quarters. Here, you'll find Bishop Alexander, unconscious and wearing a Source collar. Examining his regalia reveals the Strange Gem. Proceed to the Portside Stateroom doors. The southern door recognizes the gem, but the password is still required. Use "Fortitude" to unlock it. Inside Magister Dallis' cabin awaits the next crucial item. Note the hidden hatch containing ghouls and a Teleportation Prism.

Uncovering the Ancient Empire Songbook

Inside Magister Dallis' cabin, speak with Tarquin and Dallis, exhausting their dialogue options. The Ancient Empire Songbook rests on a pedestal. Reading it reveals the cryptic song needed to control the ship. It's advisable to complete all NPC interactions before setting sail.

Setting Sail: The Final Song

Return to the deck and inform Malady of your discovery. She'll request you sing the song. Locate the dragon figurine on the western side of the deck. Interact with it and choose the option to sing the song. Lady Vengeance will respond, and your journey continues. Be prepared for an immediate ambush by powerful magisters upon setting sail. Ensure your party is adequately prepared for a challenging battle.
