Digimon Story: Time Stranger Listing Leaks Before PlayStation Showcase

A new entry in the beloved Digimon franchise, tentatively titled Digimon Story: Time Stranger, appears to have been accidentally revealed through a GameStop listing just hours before tonight’s PlayStation State of Play presentation.

Gematsu was among the first to notice and share the pre-order links for what seems to be an unannounced title. The listings are currently live, allowing players to reserve copies for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, no official images, gameplay footage, or detailed descriptions are available at this time. Despite its mysterious nature, the timing of the leak suggests that more concrete information may surface soon—possibly even during tonight’s anticipated livestream.

Sony has confirmed that its latest State of Play episode will feature around 40 minutes of content, though no specific titles have been mentioned. Given the proximity of the GameStop leak and the upcoming presentation, it's entirely possible we’ll get our first official look at Digimon Story: Time Stranger before the night is over.

The Digimon Story series has long held a special place in the hearts of fans, dating back to the original Digimon Story on Nintendo DS in the mid-2000s. Since then, the franchise has expanded with several entries across multiple platforms, including standout releases like Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (2015) and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (2017). A Complete Edition compiling both titles launched in 2019, giving newcomers an easy way to experience those adventures.

Traditionally, Digimon Story games have immersed players in rich RPG worlds where they bond with digital monsters, train them, and engage in strategic combat.
