On January 18, the shooter introduced four new heroes, and just a few days later, the studio made some essential balance adjustments. For instance, Holliday's ability Crackshot now triggers on units and uses half its cooldown in these scenarios. Meanwhile, Calico's ability Ava has been updated to destroy objects she runs through, adding a new layer of strategy to her gameplay.

The patch also addressed some older heroes, ensuring the game remains balanced and engaging. Kelvin's health was increased from 600 to 650, enhancing his survivability. On the other hand, Vendicta’s bullet speed was reduced from 810 to 740, and her movement speed decreased from nine to eight, which aims to fine-tune her effectiveness in battle. Overall, targeted changes were made to 11 heroes, including the newly added ones, showcasing Valve's commitment to maintaining a dynamic and fair gameplay experience.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, with an online player count consistently ranging between 7,000 and 20,000, indicating a dedicated and growing community eagerly awaiting further developments.
