Critical Role 3 Climax Postponed Amidst L.A. Fires

Critical Role's Campaign 3 Temporarily Suspended Due to Los Angeles Wildfires

This week's Critical Role Campaign 3 episode has been postponed due to the devastating wildfires impacting Los Angeles. The cast, crew, and community have been directly affected, necessitating a break in the show's schedule. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further delays are possible depending on the evolving situation.

Campaign 3 is nearing its highly anticipated conclusion. The recent episode ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see how the Bells Hells resolve their perilous situation. The exact number of remaining episodes is currently unconfirmed. However, the end of Campaign 3 is imminent, with the possibility of a new campaign utilizing the Daggerheart TTRPG system on the horizon.

The January 9th episode was canceled due to the wildfire emergency. Several cast and crew members faced immediate danger, including Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray, who evacuated with their pet. Dani Carr narrowly avoided harm, while Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home and possessions. Other cast members have shared messages confirming their safety.

While a one-week hiatus is planned, further delays are a possibility. The Critical Role community is urged to remain patient and offer support to those affected by the wildfires.

In a demonstration of their commitment to community support, the Critical Role Foundation is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This donation will aid individuals impacted by the fires. The actions of both the cast and the Critical Role fanbase reflect the show's core message: "Don't forget to love each other."
