Fishing in Fisch typically involves rods, but a cost-effective alternative exists: Crab Cages. This guide explains how to obtain and utilize these unique fishing tools in the Roblox game.

Crab Cages, as their name suggests, are designed for catching crabs. While often yielding trash (now useful for crafting), they offer a different fishing experience.

Obtaining Crab Cages

Crab Cages are readily available throughout the Fisch map, frequently sold near merchants. An exception is Mushgrove Swamp, where they're found near the watchtower. Key locations include:

Moosewood
Sunstone Island
Desolate Deep
Mushgrove Swamp
Roslit Bay

Located on the ground, simply aim and purchase. You can buy multiple cages at once by specifying the quantity. Each Crab Cage costs a mere 45 C$.

Using Crab Cages

To use your Crab Cages, head to any shoreline. Place the cages in the water, ensuring sufficient distance between each, indicated by a green indicator.

Placement isn't limited to shores; you can place them in any body of water, provided you're on solid ground. For deeper water placement, use a small boat like a surfboard.

After placing the cages, wait approximately five minutes. A sound effect and glowing cages signal a successful catch.
