How to Become a Shinigami in Hollow Era

Initially, you're a Soul Spirit. To become a Shinigami, accept the first quest from the NPC, Hurt Shinigami. This choice is irreversible; you cannot switch to a Hollow unless you become a Visored (explained later). If you prefer the Hollow path, consult our Hollow progression guide.

Choosing your path requires swift action. For Hollow, break your chain. For Shinigami, the chain breaks slowly (one section every two minutes). Ignoring this will force you into the Hollow path. In that case, our resurrection moves list will be your Hollow endgame resource.

Hollow Era Shinigami Quests Guide

Your first task: purify six Lost Souls. Then, deliver a letter to a doctor near the hospital (quest from the NPC near Hurt Shinigami).

This early stage is perfect for learning your powers. Acquire a $1,000 random power sword from the Urakara shop. Consider the $200 bus stop teleport for faster travel, or purchase infinite fast travel in the Robux Shop for 149 Robux.

Further quests (marked with a red crosshair) involve defeating Hollows and Corrupted Shinigami, leading to level 15. These include repeatable quests, progression quests, and quests related to paths like Vizard and Airwalk.

Full Soul Reaper Skill Tree and Reiatsu

Strategic skill point investment is crucial for maximizing your Reiatsu. The Reiatsu Skill Tree offers powerful Kido abilities (exclusive to Shinigami):

• Caja Negacion: A lightning beam. Combine with Electric for area-of-effect damage.
• Shakkaho: An explosive energy ball. Ragdoll adds knockback; Fire adds burning damage.
• Chain Bind: Energy chains pull enemies closer.
• Prison of Light: Immobilizes enemies with light rods.
• Thunder Sear: A slow-moving lightning ball that explodes on contact.

How to Get Shikai in Hollow Era

Reach level 15 and complete the Shikai Training quest from Urihiro. Defeat Urahara Kisuke (1700 exp reward) to unlock Shikai powers.

Note: This fight is challenging at level 15. Consider reaching level 25+ for an easier time. Unlocking Shikai grants a random powerful ability to your weapon, re-rollable at the Urahara Shop. Activate Shikai (default Y) when your Rage Bar is full, consuming Reiatsu.

Hollow Era Shikai Mastering

Shikai Mastery Points (earned by using Shikai) increase your Rage Bar efficiency. Higher mastery levels grant better auras and visual effects:

• Mastery Level 1 (1-149 Points): Transparent Aura
• Mastery Level 2 (150-299 Points): Enhanced Aura
• Mastery Level 3 (300-499 Points): Lightning Boost
• Mastery Level 4 (500+ Points): Flying Stones Aura

Becoming a Visored in the Hollow Era

Reach level 50 to unlock the Vizard quest at the Vizard’s Warehouse. This path lets you blend Shinigami and Hollow powers using a Hollow Mask. Defeating the King of Hueco Mundo (1% drop rate) yields the Hogyoku, crucial for Visored transformation.

Hollow Era Visored Mastering

Visored perks include Mask Control (reduces Hollow control) and extended mask usage time, boosting damage output.
