Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them, including their Shiny variants. The real highlight? Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a robust 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds upon login.
