Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This guide explains how this helpful addition works.
The new Camo Challenge Tracker, detailed in the Season 2 patch notes, allows players to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously. A particularly useful aspect is its "Near Completion" notification system, highlighting challenges close to completion, even those not actively tracked.
This significantly improves the player experience by providing real-time progress updates during gameplay, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu.

To add a challenge to your tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This allows you to monitor progress on multiple camos and calling cards directly within matches, streamlining the path to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter.
The system also proactively identifies challenges nearing completion, displaying them even if not manually added to the tracker. These "near complete" challenges are also listed in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Season 2 also adjusts the requirements for unlocking special camos. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.
This update addresses player feedback concerning the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, implementing more efficient methods for camo acquisition and equipping, enhancing the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
