Valve keeps the community on its toes with regular updates for Deadlock, and the latest patch, though small, brings significant changes to four heroes. Calico faced a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability now has a ten-second longer cooldown, and 20% of its speed has been shifted to Tier 2. Additionally, the damage output of her T2 Leaping Slash has been reduced. Sinclair, on the other hand, has undergone a visual and functional overhaul, featuring updated sounds and animations, with his Rabbit Hex transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) ability. Both Holliday and Wraith also received nerfs, impacting their gameplay dynamics.
The update didn't stop at heroes; items saw adjustments too. Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus. Meanwhile, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot have lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively.

This marks the fifth Deadlock update of 2025 and the first in February. Valve has shifted its strategy, moving away from a fixed patch schedule to a more flexible approach, releasing updates as needed. Today's patch is a testament to this new direction.
