Quest Initiation:

Once you've finished the tutorial and entered the open world, locate the scribe Gaibl in Troskowitz. He will present you with a riddle and the smithing recipe for Brunswick's polearm. You'll need to gather the necessary materials yourself, but crafting can be done at the local blacksmith.

Solving the Riddle:

The riddle is as follows:

"Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits. Pass through the hall of forest kings, hidden deep from hunters’ gaze, standing tall two guards of stone, behind who yearned for treasure lays. Between then stands a mighty rock, a subtle niche yet deeper still, a place to give one’s heart to God, behold my armour gleaming still."

The solution involves leaving Trosky Castle via the northern gates, heading north through the forest, and locating a cave containing a chapel. The first piece of Brunswick's armor and two treasure maps are found near the cross within the chapel.

• Map 1: Follow the road west from the chapel to a crossroads, then north into the woods to a wolf den. The second armor piece is in a bag near the trees above the den.
