  • Might: Enhances physical and spiritual strength, boosting damage from all sources and increasing carry capacity. High Might unlocks unique dialogue options, potentially intimidating foes or avoiding combat.
  • Constitution: Improves overall health and endurance, increasing maximum health and resistance to poison and bleeding. It also unlocks specific dialogue choices.
  • Dexterity: Increases attack and action speed for weapons and abilities, enhancing mobility, item use, and reload speed.

Ranking Avowed's Attributes:

While attribute effectiveness depends on build, some offer broader advantages. Here's our ranking:

  1. Perception: While increased critical hit chance and range are appealing, their practical impact is often limited by the prevalence of close-quarters combat. Consider investing minimally, perhaps respeccing for specific encounters.

  2. Resolve: Increased stamina is valuable, but readily obtainable through unique armor. Second Wind, while helpful, is often outweighed by strategies focusing on health, damage mitigation, or mobility.

  3. Intellect: Boosted maximum essence and elemental resistance are significant. Even non-magic users benefit from increased essence for various abilities.

  4. Dexterity: A versatile attribute improving attack and action speeds, boosting overall DPS and mobility. A worthwhile investment for all builds.

  5. Constitution: Increased maximum health and resistance to poison/bleed are crucial for survival, especially given the frequent lethality of these status effects.

  6. Might: The most impactful attribute, significantly increasing damage output across all weapons and boosting carry capacity. The latter is invaluable for managing inventory and maximizing loot acquisition.

This ranking provides a framework for character creation. Remember to adapt your attribute allocation based on your chosen playstyle and combat preferences.
