Annapurna Interactive recently experienced a wave of resignations, sparking concerns about its upcoming titles. Fortunately, games like Control 2 and Wanderstop appear to be moving forward as planned.

Despite the recent departures at Annapurna Interactive, several developers have confirmed their projects remain on track.
"The sudden staff exodus created confusion among Annapurna's publishing partners," Jason Schreier reported in Bloomberg. "Developers are scrambling to clarify their agreements and maintain communication channels."
Remedy Entertainment was among the first to address concerns about Control 2. Communications director Thomas Puha clarified: "We appreciate everyone's concern. Remedy's partnership for Control 2, including Alan Wake and Control AV rights, remains secure with Annapurna Pictures." Since Remedy is self-publishing Control 2, the game's progress won't be impacted.
The Stanley Parable creator Davey Wreden and Team Ivy Road reassured fans about Wanderstop's development timeline. Wreden tweeted: "We're pushing forward with Wanderstop's release." Team Ivy Road added: "While unexpected, this situation hasn't slowed our progress - we're still brewing this exciting project."
Matt Newell's Lushfoil Photography Sim appears similarly unaffected. With development nearly complete, Newell promises ongoing updates while acknowledging Annapurna's positive contributions: "Their team provided invaluable support during production."
Beethoven & Dinosaur confirmed their anticipated title Mixtape continues development despite the upheaval. Their brief statement read: "Thanks for your concern - Mixtape is progressing as planned."

Several other titles - including Silent Hill: Downfall, Morsels, and Bounty Star - face uncertainty as their developers remain silent post-departure. Internally-developed Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth's status is similarly unclear.
Annapurna Pictures CEO Megan Ellison pledged ongoing support: "Our priority remains supporting our creative partners through this transition." While the publisher's future remains uncertain, most partnered developers maintain optimism about their projects.

The publisher suffered a major blow when all 25 staff members resigned following unsuccessful negotiations for studio autonomy. This exodus came shortly after former president Nathan Gary's departure.
The team cited strategic differences in their farewell statement. Annapurna Pictures' Megan Ellison reaffirmed commitment to interactive entertainment innovation across multiple platforms despite these challenges.
