Alolan Pokémon Arrive in TCG Pocket Expansion

The Celestial Guardians expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket officially launches globally this month on April 30, 2025. Immerse yourself in the Alola region, exploring its vibrant landscapes under both the radiant sun and the serene moon.

What’s New in Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians Expansion?

Celestial Guardians introduces two new digital booster packs to Pokémon TCG Pocket, featuring the legendary Solgaleo and Lunala. The beloved character Lillie also makes an appearance, alongside other familiar faces from that generation.

This update is a major event for collectors, offering over 200 new cards. The collection includes powerful Pokémon ex like Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex, as well as Alola's starter trio—Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio, all making their debut in the Pocket app.

What Are the Events?

From April 30th at 06:00 UTC to May 13th at 05:59 UTC, engage in solo battles to earn new promotional cards, including one featuring the legendary dragon, Rayquaza ex.

Special missions will be available during the same period, running until May 29th at 05:59 UTC. Completing these missions rewards you with an alternate version of Rayquaza ex, exclusive accessories, and other valuable items.

Additionally, Pokémon TCG Pocket's Half-Year Celebration begins on April 29th at 11:00 PM PDT, just hours before the new expansion's release.

Until May 12th, solo battles will distribute Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters, which contain the new promo card headlined by Rayquaza ex. The special missions continue through May 28th.
