Game Introduction

Tute, a beloved card game, enjoys widespread popularity in Spain and across Latin America. Played by 2 to 5 players (or two teams of two), the objective is to be the first to reach a predetermined point total. A standard Spanish deck of 40 cards is used.

Card values, from highest to lowest, are: Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (worth zero points).

The first card played establishes the trump suit. Players must follow suit if possible; if not, any card can be played, including a trump card. The highest trump card always wins the trick; otherwise, the highest card of the leading suit wins.

Strategic scoring involves achieving "Sing 20" and "Sing 40" for bonus points. Mastering the "Sing Tute" maneuver is key to victory!
