Samsung Notes

Samsung Notes is a versatile application that allows users to create and edit documents seamlessly across mobile, tablet, and PC platforms. It also supports real-time collaboration, making it an ideal tool for both personal and professional use.

Users can enhance their documents by adding annotations to PDFs using the S Pen, as well as create rich content incorporating images and voice recordings. The app integrates smoothly with various other applications such as PDF readers, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint, enabling flexible document management and connectivity.

Getting Started with Samsung Notes

To begin creating a new note, simply tap the + button located in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Newly created notes are saved with the “.sdocx” file extension, which is unique to Samsung Notes.

Securing Your Notes

If you need to protect sensitive information within your notes:

1. On the main screen, tap More Options in the top right corner and navigate to Settings, then choose Lock Note.
2. Select your preferred locking method and set a secure password.
3. To lock individual notes, open the note you wish to protect, tap More Options, and select Lock Note.

Writing Features

Samsung Notes provides a natural handwriting experience:

• While writing a note, tap the Handwriting icon to write directly on the screen with your finger or S Pen.

Adding Media

Enhance your notes by embedding visual and audio content:

• Photos: Tap the photo icon within a note to either take a new picture or import one from your gallery. You can also add tags and apply edits.
• Voice Recordings: Tap the Voice Recording icon during note creation to record audio directly into your note, perfect for capturing ideas on the go.

Customizing Your Writing Tools

The app offers a wide range of tools to suit your style:

• Tap the Pen icon to access various pen types including pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, and more. Customize stroke thickness and color as needed.
• Use the Eraser icon to remove unwanted ink strokes or drawings with precision.

Importing Existing Content

Samsung Notes makes it easy to migrate your previous notes:

• Utilize the Smart Switch feature to transfer notes and memos from other devices.
• If you're signed in with your Samsung account, you can also sync and import previously created notes and memos effortlessly.
