READY! for Kindergarten

READY! for Kindergarten, developed by The Children's Reading Foundation, is a leading preschool preparation program designed for children aged 2-5, and also benefits older children needing to catch up on foundational skills.

This interactive app utilizes engaging games to build essential skills necessary for academic success. Each game focuses on a specific skill, encouraging repeated play—a crucial element in early childhood learning. Detailed information about each game's learning objective is accessible via an "i" icon located in the lower right corner of each game's icon.

The app tracks your child's progress, providing reports that compare their performance to national averages for children of the same age. This allows parents to identify and address any skill gaps effectively. For 2-5 year olds, the app covers key skills including singing the alphabet, letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary expansion, counting to 30, and emotional recognition.

The READY! program is built upon 26 age-appropriate learning targets, meticulously researched and developed over seven years by early childhood experts, collaborating with families, scientists, and educators. This commitment to quality earned the program a Top 100 Award from District Administration Magazine in 2013.
