Wuthering Waves Unveils Version 2.6 ‘By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation’

Kuro Games has offered a glimpse of Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 during the Preview Special Broadcast. Titled By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation, this update launches on August 28th across all platforms.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 advances the main storyline with two new chapters: Chapter II Act VIII By Sun’s Burning Hand and Chapter II Act IX By Moon’s Fated Light. Additionally, logging in during the Gifts of the Moon Roamer event rewards players with 10 Radiant Tide and 10 Forging Tide.

Exploration takes center stage in Wuthering Waves Version 2.6

The new region, Sanguis Plateaus, introduces a fresh setting for both the main questline and various themed events. Players can engage in area exploration via Hunt of Ash and Steel, participate in photo collection through Prints of Plateaus, and tackle Tidal Defense Simulator, a tower defense-style challenge.

Several limited-time events will roll out at different times throughout Version 2.6. These include Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas, Gifts of the Hunt, Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra), Marks of the Wild, Moonlit Revelation, Beyond the Waves: Rinascita, and Back to Solaris.

A fresh lineup of Echoes is arriving, featuring The False Sovereign, Lady of the Sea, and Corrosaurus. Nightmare variants such as Gulpuff, Chirpuff, Cyan-Feathered Heron, Violet-Feathered Heron, Aero Predator, and Electro Predator are also included. New Phantom Echoes, specifically Phantom: Fallacy of No Return and Phantom: Kerasaur, will be available as well.

The Tactical Hologram: Lady of the Sea offers a focused environment to test your character builds. Meanwhile, new Resonators will appear in two distinct phases of the upcoming Resonator Convene banners.

Phase I features Eternal Radiance on the Crown (Augusta), When Silence Tolls (Carlotta), and Till the Sea Turns Clear (The Shorekeeper). Phase II includes Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes (Iuno) and Through Verses and Rhythms (Ciaccona). Their signature weapons will be obtainable through dedicated Weapon Convene banners.

Phase I showcases Thunderflare Dominion for Augusta, The Last Dance for Carlotta, and Stellar Symphony for The Shorekeeper. Phase II highlights Moongazer’s Sigil for Iuno and Woodland Aria for Ciaccona. Additionally, players can earn the Hunter’s Growl Series via the Pioneer Podcast’s Insider Channel.
