I am a passionate billiards player. Before creating this game, I searched extensively for a realistic 2D pool simulator but couldn't find one that satisfied me.

While there are certainly some excellent 3D pool games available, I have always preferred the 2D perspective. I find that in 3D games, it can be difficult to judge distances between balls and control the cue's power accurately. Plus, the 3D view often makes me feel disoriented!

Since a truly great 2D pool game eluded me, I decided to build it myself. By collaborating with other billiards-loving developers, Pool Empire was born.
