Zenless Zone Zero Confirms S-Rank Rerun Banners for Version 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero is set to excite its player base with the return of S-Rank agents in its upcoming Version 1.5 update. Fans of the game will be thrilled to know that Ellen Joe and Qingyi, two popular S-Rank agents, are making a comeback. In HoYoverse's acclaimed titles like Zenless Zone Zero, characters are pivotal, often available for limited periods to encourage players to use their in-game resources or real money to acquire them.

Unlike its counterparts, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, which regularly feature rerun banners, Zenless Zone Zero has primarily introduced new agents with each update. The community had high hopes that the Version 1.4 update would introduce rerun banners, mirroring the strategy of Genshin Impact, but those expectations were unmet. However, HoYoverse has now officially announced that Zenless Zone Zero will introduce rerun banners starting with Version 1.5.

This update is a golden opportunity for players who missed out on earlier releases or have recently joined the game. The Version 1.5 Special Program revealed that Phase 1, starting on January 22, will feature the Ether agent Astra Yao alongside a rerun banner for Ellen Joe, who debuted in Version 1.1. Additionally, Ellen's Agent Story will be added, enriching her character's narrative within the game.

Version 1.5 will be divided into two phases, with the second phase kicking off on February 12, introducing new banners. During Phase 2, players can look forward to the addition of Evelyn Chevalier and the return of the PubSec Agent, Qingyi, who was initially available in the latter part of Version 1.1. Both rerun banners will also include their specific W-Engines, allowing players to fully equip these characters with their signature gear.

In addition to the agent reruns, the Version 1.5 special program confirmed rumors about new character outfits. HoYoverse unveiled three new outfits that players can unlock: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Notably, the "Cunning Cutie" outfit for Nicole will be available for free as a reward during the Day of Brilliant Wishes limited-time event, adding an extra layer of excitement to the update.
