Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled "Bury Your Tears with the Past." Set to launch on April 23rd, this update marks the culmination of Season 1, tying up loose ends and delivering major revelations fans have been eagerly awaiting.

Unveiling Secrets in Version 1.7

The enigmatic Sacrifice crisis will finally be unraveled as players delve deeper into Vivian’s complex history. The fate of Hugo, who plummeted into the Hollow, takes center stage, with his storyline no longer shrouded in speculation. Meanwhile, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS escalate further due to Hugo’s disappearance. A high-ranking Void Hunter investigator, dispatched by the Mayor, joins the fray to address the growing chaos.

Accompanied by Vivian, players will venture into hostile zones to hunt down the Sacrifice Core. Along the way, Vivian confronts unresolved issues from her past, while the Exaltists’ intricate conspiracy begins to crumble. New Characters Join the Ranks

Version 1.7 introduces two powerful S-Rank agents from Mockingbird:

1. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, dealing massive Corruption damage when paired with other characters’ EX Special Attacks.

2. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, transforms his suitcase into a scythe. His ability triggers a Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the remaining stun duration on enemies.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the roster, tossing cards with unpredictable effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, both featured in Version 1.7’s banners.

Fresh Events and Gameplay Additions

The update introduces engaging new events, such as "Say It With Flowers," where players manage a flower shop. By fulfilling customer requests and crafting floral arrangements, players unlock a permanent mini-game in Quality Time mode and earn exclusive rewards.
