Microsoft has officially unveiled the exciting lineup for Wave 1 of the Xbox Game Pass for May 2025, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post. This wave, which spans from May 6 to May 20, includes a total of 12 games, with several notable day-one releases that are sure to captivate subscribers.
Kicking off the month on May 6, Dredge (available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This single-player fishing adventure promises a deep and mysterious experience, as players explore an archipelago and uncover secrets best left forgotten.
On May 7, the Game Pass library expands further with multiple additions. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) becomes available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard, offering fans another chance to dive into the iconic anime universe. The highlight of the month arrives on May 15 with the day-one launch of Doom: The Dark Ages (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This prequel to the acclaimed Doom series takes players back to a medieval war against Hell, promising an epic cinematic experience.
