Wuthering Waves Releases Version 2.3 for First Anniversary

Wuthering Waves has just released its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, aptly named Fiery Arpeggio of Summer, which coincides with the game's first anniversary celebration and its exciting launch on Steam. Now, fans can enjoy the immersive world of Wuthering Waves on PC, expanding the game's reach and enhancing the player experience.

What’s New in Wuthering Waves Version 2.3?

This update, rolling out in four phases, brings a plethora of new content including characters, story arcs, and various event activities. From April 29th to June 12th, 2025, players with a sufficient Union Level will find themselves immersed in engaging content for weeks to come.

The new storylines, A Blaze in the Dark and Your Summer Will Never Wither, promise gripping narratives that will keep players hooked. Alongside the stories, the update introduces a new wave of Phantom Echoes such as Crownless (with its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the cunning Chest Mimic, adding fresh challenges and excitement.

Celebrate with Login Events

To mark the occasion, Wuthering Waves is hosting several login events. The Gifts of Grand Celebration event, from May 23rd to June 11th, rewards players at Union Level 8 with Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance. Additionally, the Gifts of Grand Reunion (April 29th to June 11th) and Gifts of Melodic Verses (June 5th to June 19th) offer players Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials just for logging in.

New and Returning Minigames

The beloved Cubie Derby makes a triumphant return, serving both as a warm-up leisure event and a thrilling spectator event. Players can roll dice, navigate their Cube across a board, and earn rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

In the first phase, which lasts until June 11th, players can participate in pulls for Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This is just the beginning, as there are numerous other events like the Solaris Film Festival to explore.
