World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is finally arriving in 2025! Blizzard has unveiled initial details, promising accessible homes for all players, regardless of subscription status. No complex prerequisites, exorbitant costs, or lotteries are involved. This exciting feature will debut with the Midnight expansion.
Initially, players can select a plot in one of two distinct zones: Alliance players will find their homes in Elwynn Forest, incorporating elements from Westfall and Duskwood; while Horde players will settle in Durotar, featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline.
Each zone is divided into districts, each accommodating approximately 50 homes. Players can choose to reside in open areas or establish private communities with friends and guild members. Extensive customization options will be available, primarily through in-game acquisition, with some items offered in the shop.
Blizzard's vision for the housing system rests on three core pillars: extensive customization, robust social interaction, and enduring longevity. Further details are promised in the future, and player feedback is actively encouraged.
