Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery will reach its seventh and final phase on January 28, promising exciting new content for players. This update will introduce the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the Scourge Invasions event, setting the stage for an epic conclusion to the season.

Key Dates and Events:

• Phase 7 Launch: January 28, following server maintenance.
• Karazhan Crypts Dungeon: A new 5-player dungeon located in Deadwind Pass, delving beneath the iconic tower of Karazhan.
• Scourge Invasions Event: Undead monsters will overrun various zones and cities across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Players can engage in new quests at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, collecting Necrotic Runes to acquire unique consumable items.
• Naxxramas Raid: Guilds can challenge this fabled raid starting February 6, featuring new twists and an "Empower" difficulty option for added challenge. After conquering the four wings of Naxxramas, players will face the final showdown in the Frostwyrm Lair against Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad.

• New Runes: Rune Brokers in starting zones and capital cities will offer new runes, enhancing gameplay and character abilities.

Phase 7 follows closely on the heels of Phase 6, which brought players back to Silithus to tackle the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn'qiraj raids. During Phase 6, players encountered a mysterious Shadowy Figure in the desert ruins, speculated to be Xal'atath from World of Warcraft: The War Within.
