Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful apparitions offering players valuable items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive of these, can significantly aid your gameplay. This guide details how to locate and interact with the Earth Sprite to gain rewards.
The Earth Sprite is exclusive to the new Chapter 6 map in the main Battle Royale mode, including Zero Build and Ranked variants. It's not found in other modes like OG or Reload. While nearly two dozen potential spawn locations exist (marked by distinctive lanterns, similar to the one pictured above near Burd), only two Earth Sprites appear per match. This means you might need to search several locations to find one.
Numerous maps, such as the one shown above (courtesy of Perfect Score on YouTube), pinpoint all 22 possible Earth Sprite locations on the Fortnite Chapter 6 map. These locations include:
Locating the Earth Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply hold your interact button while facing it. This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding 25,000 XP.
Remember, you'll lose the weapon you give, but you'll receive a random Legendary rarity weapon in return. While the search can be time-consuming, the high-rarity weapon reward makes it worthwhile, giving you a significant advantage in Fortnite.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
