Vampire Survivors Unveils SaGa-Inspired DLC and Cross-Save Update

Vampire Survivors enthusiasts have a treat today with the release of the free Emerald Diorama DLC, a thrilling crossover with Square Enix’s iconic SaGa series. This update, marking the game's most significant expansion yet, injects JRPG vibes into the beloved survival game, enhancing the experience with new content and features.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces an exciting new stage designed like a mini world map, offering players a world-hopping experience. This stage is accompanied by over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who enchant with cursed songs. Additionally, the DLC boasts over 16 new weapons and a unique Glimmer system, allowing you to randomly acquire new skills during your runs, enhancing strategic depth. The soundtrack also receives a boost with nine new music tracks, immersing players further into the game’s atmosphere.

To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. By purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, you can progressively unlock the DLC's content. A new feature, character parties, allows you to form your own mini squad, adding a layer of teamwork to your adventures. Get a sneak peek of what's in store with the launch trailer below.

The DLC also introduces two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns comprising six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the new DLC’s content.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

In addition to the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors receives another free update called The Coop, centered around a chicken theme. It introduces a new character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up gameplay. Players can unlock various achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update. A pro tip for players: refrain from killing anything for the first minute of playing The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.

Vampire Survivors is available for free download on the Google Play Store, including the Emerald Diorama DLC and The Coop update. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
