"Type: Null, Ultra Beasts Enter Pokemon TCG Pocket with Extradimensional Crisis Expansion"

by Ava May 26,2025

Not done collecting all the cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians Expansion, which was released just three weeks ago? Well, get ready for more excitement because another expansion is on its way. The new expansion, named Extradimensional Crisis, is set to launch on May 29 and will feature the intriguing Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.

Extradimensional Crisis brings to the forefront the Ultra Beasts, those quirky alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokemon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards for this expansion include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. In addition to the Ultra Beasts, more Alola Pokemon will be introduced, expanding on the selection from Celestial Guardians. With Type: Null making an appearance, it's highly likely that its evolution, Silvally, will also be included.

Alongside new cards, Extradimensional Crisis introduces fresh cosmetics to enhance your collection experience. Starting May 29, you can snag an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover by exchanging shop tickets. Additionally, a floral display board will be available for purchase with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, beginning June 11.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has been consistently releasing expansions since its debut last year. Although Extradimensional Crisis is considered a minor booster expansion, featuring only one booster pack type, it's quickly following in the footsteps of previous releases. This expansion marks the seventh in total and the fourth smaller expansion, joining the ranks of Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain available in the game, but keep in mind that this could change in the future.
