Exciting news for mobile gamers! Akatsuki Games has announced that their action-adventure RPG, Tribe Nine, is set to launch on Android on February 20th, 2025. Pre-registration is now open, and with the release date just around the corner, fans are eagerly anticipating diving into this futuristic world.
In Tribe Nine, players are transported to a dystopian Neo Tokyo in the year 20XX. The city is under the control of a masked villain named Zero, who enforces a brutal rule through Extreme Games (XG), a life-or-death competition that every citizen must participate in to survive. Enter the rebels, a group of teenagers who refuse to play by Zero's rules. Their weapon of choice? Extreme Baseball (XB), a unique twist on the classic sport that they use to fight back against tyranny. To get a better feel for the game, check out the latest trailer for Tribe Nine on Android.
Neo Tokyo in Tribe Nine is divided into 23 unique districts, each inspired by real-world Tokyo locations but reimagined with a striking cyberpunk aesthetic. As you explore and liberate the city, you'll encounter a diverse cast of characters. At launch, there will be over 10 playable characters for you to choose from.
After completing the main story, two significant endgame areas will become available. These won't be accessible right at launch, but the developers have promised they will be added shortly after, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the main storyline before tackling the high-level content.
Tribe Nine breaks away from traditional mobile game mechanics by eliminating the stamina system. This means you can play as much as you want, whenever you want, without worrying about energy constraints. If you're excited to join the fight in Neo Tokyo, be sure to pre-register for Tribe Nine on the Google Play Store. For more information about the game, you can visit the official website.
