Titled "Shadows and Fortune," this update adds a darker, more mysterious layer to the charming pixel-art adventure, introducing a slew of new mechanics that are sure to deepen your gameplay experience.

Even though TownsFolk is freshly launched, the developers aren't holding back on enriching the game. The "Shadows and Fortune" update brings new buildings and challenges to the table, transforming your gameplay. You'll encounter roaming Barbarians that ramp up the tension in both campaign missions and Skirmish mode. Plus, eight new structures are now at your disposal: the Altar, the Town Square, the Blacksmith, the Aqueduct, the Bank, the Granary, the Factory, and the Terraformer, each adding unique elements to your settlement.

The update also spices up the water tiles with the introduction of the rare Whale, adding a delightful twist to your aquatic adventures. Moreover, Special Locations like the ancient Obelisks and new Shipwrecks increase the unpredictability of your exploration, keeping you on your toes.
