The Capcom Pro Tour is currently on a break, and we now know all 48 participants for Capcom Cup 11. However, instead of focusing on the top players from around the world, let's dive into the characters they are using in Street Fighter 6. Following the conclusion of the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs provided detailed statistics on the most popular characters at the highest level of play, offering a clear picture of the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 current fighters are represented in these stats. Despite nearly two hundred players being analyzed (including eight finalists from 24 regions), only one player chose Ryu as their main. Even the newest addition to the roster, Terry Bogard, was selected by two players.
Currently, the most popular characters on the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as the main character by 17 players. There's a significant drop-off after these top three, with the next tier featuring Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both with 11 players), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10 players). Among the less popular characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each being the main character for seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is set to take place this March in Tokyo, where the winner will take home a staggering prize of one million dollars.
