Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating on Singapore Site

by Sebastian Apr 25,2025

The buzz around the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is heating up, and the latest fuel to the rumor fire comes straight from Singapore's rating board. They've officially rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" with a planned release in 2025. This rumored remake, featuring the next two iconic games in the series, is set to land on a wide array of platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This broad platform support hints at a major release aimed at capturing a wide audience.

While there's no official word from Activision yet, the excitement is palpable. A mysterious countdown timer found in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has fans buzzing, as it's set to reveal Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news on March 4, 2025. This adds a tantalizing layer of anticipation to the mix.

Adding to the fervor, Tony Hawk himself has dropped hints in a recent chat with Mythical Kitchen. He's been in discussions with Activision and teased that they're working on something special. "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate," Hawk stated, stoking the flames of speculation even further.

The success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020 set a high bar, and it seemed only natural that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 would follow. However, after the 2021 merger of the original remake's developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard to focus on Blizzard's projects, the path forward became less clear. Hawk revealed on a 2022 Twitch livestream that Activision had been searching for a new developer to take on the 3+4 remake but couldn't find a studio they trusted as much as Vicarious Visions. "The truth of it is that [Activision] were trying to find somebody to do 3 + 4 but they just didn’t really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious, so they took other pitches from other studios," Hawk explained. "Like, ‘What would you do with the THPS title?’ And they didn’t like anything they heard, and then that was it."

With the Singaporean ratings board listing Activision as both the publisher and developer, the big question remains: who is actually developing this anticipated remake? As the countdown timer ticks down to March 4, next week, we're on the edge of our seats, eager to uncover more details about this exciting project.
