In the past three months alone, Grand Theft Auto V has sold an impressive 5 million copies, proving its enduring popularity even over a decade since its launch in September 2013. As one of the best-selling games of all time, GTA V continues to captivate gamers worldwide.

Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen a significant boost in sales, reaching 70 million copies sold overall and climbing by 3 million in the last quarter. Released in October 2018, RDR2 remains a standout title in the gaming industry.

The success of GTA V is further bolstered by its online component, GTA Online, which continues to thrive thanks to regular updates like the recent "Agents of Sabotage" released in December 2024. These ongoing improvements keep the community engaged and active.

Looking ahead, Take-Two has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release in fall 2025. Additionally, Mafia: The Old Country is anticipated for summer release, while Borderlands 4 is expected later this year. Fans eagerly await these upcoming titles, though no specific release dates have been announced for Borderlands 4.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick noted that Rockstar is carefully managing the development of GTA VI, similar to their meticulous approach with prior releases like GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. Despite concerns about potential delays, the game remains on track for its scheduled autumn release.
