Monster Hunter Wilds' innovative Seikret introduces significant combat and logistical advantages. This guide explains how to seamlessly switch between your primary and secondary weapons.
To swap weapons, first summon your Seikret (using the up directional pad or the X key on PC). While mounted, press the right directional pad button. This instantly equips your secondary weapon. You can recall your Seikret at any point on the map using the up directional pad.
Alternatively, manage your loadout at Base Camp. Speak with Gemma, access your weapon inventory, and select your preferred primary and secondary weapons. Your primary weapon is visibly equipped, while the secondary rests on your Seikret. This arrangement is fully customizable.
The dual-weapon system offers exceptional versatility. While mastering a single weapon type is crucial, proficiency with multiple weapons enhances your ability to tackle diverse threats and elemental weaknesses. Consider carrying weapons with varying elemental properties to handle unexpected monster encounters.
This concludes our guide on weapon switching in Monster Hunter Wilds. Explore The Escapist for more in-depth game guides, including comprehensive armor set analyses and weapon tier lists.
