Aspyr has unveiled a surprising playable character for the upcoming re-release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles on modern consoles: Jar Jar Binks! A new trailer showcases the Gungan wielding a large staff in action-packed gameplay.

This isn't the only addition to the original game's roster. Aspyr has already revealed nine other new playable characters, with more to come, expanding the already diverse cast from the 2000 release. The updated Jedi Power Battles aims to recapture the nostalgia of the original while adding fresh content. Features include customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support.
