Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

After the electrifying Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two dynamic characters: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. This update brings a fresh wave of content, including new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with enticing rewards to enhance your gaming experience.

Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to make a significant impact in The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, makes their debut on April 9th. This dazzling yet dangerous assassin, crafted by The Founders, brings a unique flair to the game with their light manipulation powers.

Lumatrix isn't just about aesthetics; their deadly intent is cloaked in light manipulation. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from various game modes like Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to collect these runs until June 4th, so make sure to participate actively.

The new Spy Games quest adds an intriguing twist, with Black Widow enlisting Spider-Woman's expertise to delve into the mystery surrounding the Eidols' arrival. This narrative is filled with danger and deception, and these two elite spies are crucial in unraveling the sinister secrets behind Lumatrix’s dazzling displays. The Spy Games event runs from March 9th to May 7th.

Deadpool also joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed, available from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool shares a trove of special rewards including event currency, crystals, and various bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards via Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake things up with a seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th to May 2nd. Achieving milestones in this event will earn you Poolshields, which can be redeemed for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops are available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
