Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Get Ready for Sonic Mania! Sega unleashes a wave of exciting mobile game updates timed with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all getting movie-inspired content boosts.

First up (December 12th), Sonic Forces receives a brand-new Metro-city Zone, featuring three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete these levels before seeing the film for the ultimate experience!

Next (December 18th), Sonic Dream Team on Apple Arcade adds Shadow as a playable character with all-new abilities. Unlock him via Tails’ Challenges. Shadow's Chaos Control and Chaos Shift powers let you manipulate time, freezing foes and the environment.

This update also introduces new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost for all characters, plus exclusive upgrades (like Double Chaos Shift) for Shadow. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are included, along with a revamped tutorial.

Last but not least (December 20th), Sonic Dash lets you collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer bonus rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
