The Battle of Polytopia has brought the heat with the release of the fiery Solaris tribe on mobile platforms. Initially launched on PC a few months back, this blazing alter-ego of the frosty Polaris tribe is now ready to ignite the Square and leave it in ashes!

The Solaris Turns Up the Heat in The Battle of Polytopia

The new Solaris skin transforms the icy elements into a blazing inferno, turning snow into ash and serene lakes into pools of molten lava. While technically the same tribe, the Solaris have shifted from their cool, calculated strategies to something far more explosive.

This update is rich with spicy lore, connecting to an eternal war that has devastated entire worlds. The icy Polaris tribe had previously encountered the enigmatic Gaami, but the introduction of the Ralmi escalates the conflict. These fire-wielding invaders have emerged from underground, set their sights on the Square, and begun their conquest by subjugating the Solaris and spreading their fiery magic across the land.

The Solaris' Fiery Arsenal

The Solaris bring unique abilities to the battlefield. They can transform water into solid lava, drastically altering map navigation. Their units, such as the Pyro, leave a trail of fire as they move, while Ash Archers can petrify enemy forces.

For swift movement, there's the Steam Wagon, capable of crossing lava rivers. To expand their empire, Solaris can use Lava Banks to generate stars by setting the terrain ablaze. You can get a closer look at the Solaris in action in The Battle of Polytopia through the trailer below.

Master new skills like Heatwork for crater-building, Geothermics for harnessing volcanic turbines, and Explosives for dramatic battlefield effects. Meanwhile, the Ralmi introduce their own formidable tactics, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
