The storyline begins with a young girl named Misuzu, who embarks on a journey alongside her mother, Yoko, traveling from the past, and her future daughter, Tsumugi, accompanied by Hiruko, who claims to be Misuzu’s unborn brother.

Misuzu, a 16-year-old who experienced the loss of her mother at a tender age, encounters Yoko, also 16, visiting from 1996. Yoko informs Misuzu about her selection for the Seedsow Ceremony, a ritual intended to honor the gods and prevent the malevolent entity, True Winter, from infiltrating their realm.

The narrative unfolds further as Misuzu transitions into the year 2050, meeting her adult daughter, Tsumugi, and Hiruko, Yoko’s supposed miscarried son. Their mission takes place in the Eternal Realm, the celestial abode of the gods, characterized by its breathtakingly vivid landscapes.
