Star Wars Celebration has provided fans with an exciting first look at Rory McCann as Baylan Skoll in Season 2 of Ahsoka. McCann steps into the role previously played by Ray Stevenson, who sadly passed away due to a brief illness just three months before the premiere of the first season. Stevenson, known for his roles in Thor, RRR, Punisher: War Zone, Rome, and more, left a significant impact with his portrayal of Baylan, which many consider a highlight of the series.

During the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration, attendees were treated to a first-look image of McCann as Baylan Skoll, which you can view below.

Series creator Dave Filoni expressed the profound challenge of losing Stevenson, describing him as "the most beautiful person on screen and off." Despite this loss, the team is moving forward with Season 2, promising the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with characters like Admiral Ackbar, Zeb, Chopper, and more.

However, as the series progressed, it successfully blended rich lore, humor, and epic battles, delivering a narrative that feels both classically Star Wars and refreshingly new.
