Team NINJA's latest ambitious action RPG, reminiscent of soulslike games, has now been released on PC a year after its initial launch. Apart from performance patches in the months following its release, there has been no news regarding additional DLC or content.
So, does the PC version offer anything new for those who have already experienced the game's original release from last year?

Unfortunately, the PC version of Rise of the Ronin does not include any new content beyond what was available in the original version. However, it does allow players to adjust the graphics settings to their preference.
Moreover, reports indicate that the game's optimization remains subpar, mirroring issues seen in its PlayStation debut. Players may need to spend time tweaking various settings to achieve a smooth gameplay experience.

At Game8, we rated the original PlayStation 5 version an impressive 80/100, praising its stunning visuals, intricate combat system, and robust character creator. However, since the PC port offers nothing new compared to the initial release, we suggest waiting for a sale if you're eager to experience a "samurai with guns" style of gameplay.
It's also worth noting that there's no indication from Team NINJA or Koei Tecmo about any forthcoming DLC or new content for Rise of the Ronin.
