Following a minor leak last week, EA has officially announced the title of their upcoming Star Wars game, *Star Wars: Zero Company*, developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and Respawn. The game promises to be an exciting addition to the Star Wars gaming universe.
Details on *Star Wars: Zero Company* remain scarce, but it's confirmed to be a "single-player turn-based tactics game." Fans won't have to wait long for more information, as EA has scheduled a first look at the game for April 19 at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.
Bit Reactor, the developer behind *Zero Company*, is a newly established strategy game studio formed in 2022. The team consists of industry veterans who have worked on acclaimed titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. While it was known that Bit Reactor was working on a Star Wars game with Respawn, this is the first time concrete details have been shared about the project.
Respawn's role in *Zero Company* remains somewhat ambiguous. The studio has faced several challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS project a year ago, along with significant layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.
For those eager to learn more, a live panel dedicated to *Star Wars: Zero Company* will take place on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. This translates to an early morning reveal for U.S. viewers at 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so be sure to set your alarms to catch all the latest updates on this eagerly anticipated game.
