May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a packed schedule of events and the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio in 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will grace Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing along its special move, Nature's Madness, and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following that, the Lake Trio will make their grand return starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll have the chance to encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or India, and Azelf in the Americas or Greenland.

Once the Lake Trio departs, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also showcasing Nature's Madness and its Shiny variant.

For Mega Raid enthusiasts, May offers an impressive lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, succeeded by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and finally, Mega Altaria will take over from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to 7th, followed by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to 18th, players can participate in the "Crown Clash" event, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is set for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will run from May 14th to 18th, and a Shadow Raid Day is scheduled for May 17th.

The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will take place from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic happening on May 24th. The month will conclude with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
