Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Invites All Trainers

Niantic is thrilled to invite Trainers from around the globe to the Pokémon GO Fest 2025, set to take place this summer. Mark your calendars for these in-person events:

• May 29 - June 1: Osaka, Japan at Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park
• June 6 - June 8: Jersey City, New Jersey, USA at Liberty State Park
• June 13 - June 15: Paris, France at Parc de Sceaux

A major highlight of this year's festival is the debut of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion. Ticket holders at any of these events will have a unique opportunity to encounter Volcanion through Special Research. However, please note that each player can only encounter Volcanion once, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Additional Special Research stories will reward you with Volcanion Candy instead.

Exclusive Festival Merchandise For Pre-Order

Enhance your Pokémon GO Fest 2025 experience with exclusive festival merchandise! You can pre-order official Pokémon GO Fest 2025 t-shirts, tote bags, hoodies, lapel pins, and Pokémon-themed backpacks. Keep in mind, these items are limited in stock and must be pre-ordered. You'll be able to claim your pre-orders during the event.

Note that the Lapel Pin and the limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks are exclusive to Jersey City and Paris and will not be available in Osaka.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global For Everyone

Can't make it to the regional events? No worries! Join the Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global online event on June 28th and 29th, open to players worldwide. By purchasing a ticket for the Global event, you'll gain access to exclusive Timed Research for Volcanion, along with 5x Max Revives, 5x Rare Candies, and 3x Premium Battle Passes.

Global event tickets can be bought until June 29th. However, if you purchase your ticket by April 15th and play Pokémon GO between April 8th at 10 AM local time and April 15th at 10 AM local time, you'll receive a special Timed Research that grants an additional encounter with Skiddo.
