March brings a thrilling shift in *Pokemon GO* with the Bug Out event, celebrating the charm of bug-type Pokemon. This event offers a fantastic chance to capture these fascinating creatures, along with enticing bonuses and stylish new avatar items.
The Bug Out event in *Pokemon GO* kicks off on **March 26 at 10 AM local time** and runs until **8 PM local time on March 30**. That's a solid five days to hunt down those elusive bug-type Pokemon that would make even Misty shiver. It's also a prime time for Shiny hunters, as nearly every featured Pokemon boasts a Shiny variant in the game.
According to the official page, you'll encounter the following bug-type Pokemon more frequently in the wild during the Bug Out event:
Get ready for two new additions to *Pokemon GO* during the Bug Out event: Sizzlipede and Centiskorch. You can evolve Sizzlipede into Centiskorch with 50 Sizzlipede Candy.

The Paid Timed Research provides a Lure Module, two Premium Battle Passes, and encounters with event Pokemon. Remember, all research must be completed and rewards claimed before the event ends.
